I love my dripping pots

This week I'll be showing you one of my favorite things about my kitchen. Every time I use this particular feature of my kitchen I'm just so happy about it. Here it is:

Sink

No, it's not my sink. It's the hooks those pots and pans are hung upon right above my sink. When we bought a new set of pots and pans The Man put these nifty hooks up there so I wouldn't have to stack them on top of each other in the cabinet and scratch them all up.

Hooks

I LOVE it and I thank him for doing it frequently. Now I can just wash the pots and pans and stick them right up there to drip dry into the sink. It's FABULOUS.

Totally works for me.

Bonus to anyone who can point out two other things in that first picture that I've blogged about before! I don't know what the bonus is... how about a long distance pat on the back?

BEFORE YOU GO!

OMGOSH - isn't that the most annoying thing ever?! But seriously, if you know of any bloggers you'd like to nominate as the Little Fish of the Week, please let me know here. I'm really hoping to be able to feature a lot of smaller bloggers like myself but I need to know about them from you! So please, please go nominate someone!

Last week's winner of This Body for the Book A Week Giveaway is Dawn from Snakes and Snails and Sugar and Spice! This week I'm taking a break from the give-away but I'll be offering something else up next week so come back to check. :)

Found you through Works for Me Wednesday and I'd like to nominate my blog for a Little Fish award! I'm so little, I had never heard of Alexa and had to spend some time figuring out my rating, but I do qualify. Thanks for considering me. (Love the pot hooks!)

I love your idea! And I have space above my double sink that pans would fit. There's no soffit there. Hmmm... You've inspired me!

What a great idea! I've always wanted one of those groovy hanging contraptions for pots, but that works just as well!

Um, uh, I would like to be little fish pf the weeks perhaps... :) How do I nominate myself?

Mrs. Who and Muthering Heights - you're both nominated. :)

This is a great idea! We will be buying a home soon and are always interested in finding new ways to be creative and efficient in the homemaking process. Thank you!

I've got the hanging pots going on in my kitchen as well, but my sink area rarely looks that good....

Great idea!

I have to say you're getting very good at this. Love the hanging pots but I've a cabinet above my sink so I couldn't have mine hanging, more's the pity.

Go on then, I'll nominate myself.

My pans hang above my kitchen window opposite my sink - I have a grid mounted on the wall above so I can hang utensils, jugs etc. Doesn't it amaze you how a little "upward thinking" can make so much difference to life?

Found you through Works for Me Wednesday :)

I'm going to forward your post to The Surveyor. Maybe it will give him a great idea to put up pot hangers in our kitchen!!! heehee!

Really cool idea, the hooks. Good job.

Great idea, they would be so easy to get when you need them too, rather than wrestling them out of the cupboard like I do :)

Have a great week :)

The first thing I thought when I read that your sink was always that tidy was your "FlyLady Doesn't Work for Me" post. It's hard to get rid of the brainwashing -- I'm a FlyLady drop out myself, but I am unable to leave the sink dirty anymore. ;)

Those hooks are a great idea! I will have to remember that if our next home has a double sink in the kitchen.

I would like to nominate Laura of "Storytellin' Mama" http://storytellingmama.blogspot.com/.

I wish we had the space to do this, but we have low ceilings in our apartment. Some day.... Have a nice weekend!
