I learn new things from the blogosphere every day. Truly, I've learned how to clean without using chemicals, I've learned how to take better pictures of my kids, and I've learned how to make bbq ribs like a champ (well, I've written down the recipe anyhow).
Recently I've learned that everyone will be at BlogHer without me. I'm sad about it.
I want to know how everyone is managing to have 3 blissfully child and man free days laughing with other like-minded women. How!?! I've got to plan better for next year.
I've also learned that July is a very popular month to get married. We South Floridians tend to pick wedding dates between December and February. No one wants to sweat buckets inside of formal wear. Any other dates will have people automatically counting months back from the firstborns birth date to the anniversary.
Married in August, eh? And Jimmy's birthday is when? March 3rd?
I've learned that I can be tormented with absolutely horrific cliff hangers about baby seals. I'm serious, this is worse than the cliff hanger Showtime gives me every week at the end of Weeds.
So thank you, Blogosphere and all of you who make it up. Thanks for being here to distract me from all the things I really should be doing (like working and taking care of my family) and for providing a window to the rest of the world. You rock.

Not quite everyone is going ;-). Wanna break out the margaritas while they're gone?
I'm in on the margaritas :)
It's becoming evident that I am going to have to quit my job if I am going to continue to be a blogger. I don't think the hubby will be pleased!!
Nope, won't be there either. Considering it would take a flight half way around the planet, but there you go. Definitely in on the margaritas. Would it be out of order for me to get boozy in the very wee small hours to share a toast, it's 22:52 here now.
me too! i totally feel left out of this blogher event!!!
i'm in on the margaritas too! let's start a party of our own!
Shall I host a Margarita party? ;)
Totally off topic, but have I told you how great your site looks?
Well, it does!
If we had lived in the south when we got married, we NEVER would have chosen July!
Why thank you Jennifer!
Eventually I'm trying to make it look even better but it's going to take jumping to wordpress for that. And I'm scared... so scared.
I can sympathize--last year I wasn't going and felt completely and totally left out. I wouldn't be going this year if my kids were younger and my husband couldn't take the week off, wish you could be there too--maybe next year? You never know what could happen in a year!
Awww, it'll be over soon and everyone will be onto new drama. I'll miss seeing you, though!
