Fight the Frump! Facial Hair Edition

Photobucket

Today is Friday and that means we're Fighting the Frump! I'd like to talk today about something I see a lot of women sort of let go by the wayside. Something that, when under control, can make you feel like a whole new woman.

Today we're going to discuss body hair. From head to toe we're plagued with it and as we get older it's tougher to deal with. I don't know about you, but in the past few years I've noticed strange dark hairs popping up in the oddest places. It's gotten to the point where I don't even leave the house without my trusty Revlon Tweezers. (Seriously, these babies are the best - I have at least 5 pair.) I can't imagine what I might look like if I wasn't constantly plucking.

Maybe you don't realize you have a stache. The blond ones really glisten nicely in sunlight, but maybe not so much in your bathroom at home. Perhaps you read somewhere that thick eyebrows made you look younger.

This may be so... but we must draw the line between Brooke and Bert...

Get yourself a good magnified mirror with a LIGHT. Something like this one. Get yourself some tweezers and some Nair for face and get rid of that hair, you sexy thing!

Oh, I'm too sexy for my hair, too sexy for my hair, my ugly facial hair!
Funny post!

YES! I love it, I love it, I love it! Your hysterical! I have that blond, out of control facial hair, as well. I get the eyebrows waxed on a monthly basis and I shave the stach every other day or so in the shower. When I see a lady out in the world that is full on sporting the stach and wandering around like it's all good, I have to FIGHT with my self not to help her. It really is NO BUENO. Thanks for the great post!

Brooke's eyebrows are just like mine (before I started waxing them). Unfortunately, that is where the similarities in looks ends...

This simple change can make such a HUGE impact! I know from experience.

Blessings,
Karla

Sometime, I see people out and I just want to take my tweezers out and say "Hold still this will only hurt for a minute"

This is so true. When it gets close to waxing time those stray eyebrows drive me crazy!

I am SO right handed when it comes to tweezing my eyebrows. Meaning, I can never get the left one to look right. It's always a little weird looking!

yes, a good pair of tweezers..I use the Tweezerman ones...they are guaranteed for a lifetime, but they are also very expensive. Must check out the Revlon.

On a side note...the one problem I have with some women who pluck is that they OVERpluck, don't you think?

This is such a hard one to keep up with sometimes. I do love the results afterward!
