I tried to quit coffee this week.
It started with the juice fast. No coffee on the juice fast. Then I thought... what the heck, let's just try to stop this dependency. So every day I woke up and walked past my coffee pot. Every day I just said NO to Javanilla. Every day I felt terrible. Sluggish, like my energy had been depleted, like I was being weighed down by one of those lead aprons you get at the dentist's office.
Today I decided "I'll just have one cup."
Let me tell you, friends, I have never felt better. I'm smiling, energetic, I can't wait to take on the day!
I'm sorry, Coffee, I will never leave you again. It was wrong of me to think I could go without you.
