And I never got salmonella, either.
It's been a while since I've done a Sincerely 'Fro Me To You post, but I thought I'd try to get back into the swing of my favorite carnivals. :) So this week I bring you the following photo from my archives.
It seems to be a bit of a pattern in my very young childhood for my mother to place me on the counter and take a picture. I really had four siblings but two of them fell off the counter and cracked their heads open. Only the strong survive in this family.
This picture illustrates the reason why my sisters swore I was spoiled rotten growing up. Notice my older sister in the background cleaning the pool while I eat yummy cake batter. I bet she would have liked to lick a beater, but chances are she had no clue beaters were being handed out for licking. The glory was all mine.

I'll just start calling you Druscilla. Or... what was the other one's name?
That is a great pic! I'm sure your sister just LOVED having a baby sister! ;p
Oh my gosh, you are soooo cute! Just adorable!
I think it's hysterical that your sister is in the picture too, doing hard manual labor while you lounge in the house :)
Ha! The funniest part of the picture is your poor sister in the background. Love it! :)
That's just awesome! Especially with the baby bottle between your chubby legs!
so cute...i love to lick the beater to this day and never let the kids, telling them they could get sick, just adults can eat raw dough...i know i am truly awful!
you are soooooooooo cute! i would have loved to just pinch your cheeks and give them smooches!
too cute!
I have licked MANY a beater as a child and never got sick. Of course I don't let my kids do it because what if?
You have proof that you were the favorite!!!! Hehehe, that is great.
Adorable! I love pics like that!
I love this old photo! And I noticed right off the sundress babe cleaning the pool.
I have many a great memory of waiting on the beaters to be handed down in my mom's kitchen. I do the same with my two.
THE SISTER IN THE BACKGROUND!!! That is *almost* the best part of the picture.
BTW - the other step-sister's name was Anastasia. But I had to Google it. Drucilla is the only one people seem to remember - lol.
You're friggin' adorable!
you look like... you look like claudia in that picture. im serious. just look at the face and then look at claudia as a baby. almost identical.
